Back in September we announced that we are a founding partner of Material Source Studio, based in the exciting area of NOMA in Manchester. We can now confirm that Material Source Studio has opened its doors and is ready to welcome people to meet, work and socialise.
The first of its kind in the UK, Material Source Studio is located in a Grade II building and spans 15,000sqft. As a founding partner, we’re in great company with the likes of Crown, Dyson, Karndean, Sixteen3 and more. So, if you were anticipating the opening of Material Source Studio, let us tell you a little bit more about what you can expect!
Set over two floors, Material Source Studio is home to exhibits and displays from 35 leading brands that work in the commercial interiors and built environment sectors. You will also find an 80-seat theatre, 300+ book library, 7 different meeting spaces, the HUB and a podcast studio.
With 39 partners in total, the Studio displays products from each one in situ, which includes our very own neon signs.

Material Source Studio aims to support and champion the creative communities in the North West, with a Gallery that will showcase seasonally-changing exhibitions. After 50 years of being empty, the building is now geared towards talk series, interactive displays, collaboration and more.
The Studio’s core offering comes from its founding partners, showcasing paint, flooring, furniture, lighting, accessories and more. Designed to deliver both inspiration and aspiration, creative director Darren Clanford has carefully created a unique ambience for every zone within the studio. Working with products and materials from the interiors and built environment sectors, the Studio is a dynamic and exciting space.
You can check out more information about Material Source Studio right here, along with some great pictures that show off its interior beautifully.
The Studio is open Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm and operates an open-door policy.
