Make Your Own Neon Sign With Expert One-To-One Tuition
Discover the magic of neon sign making with our immersive full-day workshop. This hands-on experience offers expert one-to-one tuition where you'll get an introduction to traditional glass bending techniques and craft your very own neon sign. This is real neon, and not an LED imitation.
We encourage participants to chat with us about their design at least a couple of weeks before the workshop, so we can manage expectations and ensure you spend more time making on the day. Shapes, outlines or initials are the most achievable in the timeframe.

Is there any preparation required?+
We encourage participants to chat with us about the design they would like to make, at least a couple of weeks before the workshop, so that we can manage expectations as to what is achievable. Shapes, outlines or initials are the most achievable in the timeframe.
What can I expect on the day?+
You will be greeted by a member of our team, given a brief history of neon signs and a tour of our workshop. Working directly with one of our skilled glass benders, you will chat about bringing your design to life, followed by an introduction to flames and simple bends. The rest of the day is spent bending glass to make your design.
What will I take away?+
If you would rather take your creation home on the day, we allow time for the neon tubes to be filled with gas and assembled. If you prefer to spend more time making the design, our craftspeople can complete the process after the workshop — arrange collection or delivery at an additional cost.
Who is it suitable for?+
Suitable for anyone aged 14+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. No prior skill or knowledge is required. Beginners, creative enthusiasts and neon lovers are all welcome.
How much does it cost?+
The full day one-to-one workshop is £600, including a neon power supply to illuminate your design. If you would like your creation fitted onto a backing panel so you can easily hang and plug it in, we can supply different backing types for an additional charge.
What should I wear?+
Loose clothing should be avoided if possible and long hair needs to be tied back. We provide safety glasses.
Are refreshments provided?+
Whilst we provide drinks, we suggest bringing a packed lunch on the day.
How can I book?+
Please click on the booking link and select 'One To One Workshop Deposit'. We will then arrange a suitable date — usually Monday, Friday, or Saturday, but we try to be flexible. Gift vouchers are also available.
Terms & Conditions
- A £300 non-refundable deposit is required for direct bookings. Vouchers are payable in full at time of purchase.
- Upon payment of the deposit we will arrange a suitable date — workshops are usually run on a Monday, Friday, or Saturday, but we try to be flexible.
- Balance is due 28 days prior to the workshop. If not received within 28 days, we reserve the right to cancel the date.
- Cancellations or amendments can be made up to 28 days before the workshop.
- Participants must be 14 years old and above. Under 17s must be accompanied by an adult.
- In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will either re-schedule or offer a full refund. We are unable to reimburse any travel or accommodation costs.
- Fire and alcohol do not mix — we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who has been drinking prior to the workshop.
