About This Workshop
Make A Neon Sign Together With Expert Tuition
Discover the magic of neon sign making with a friend, partner or family member, with our immersive full-day workshop. This hands-on experience offers expert two-to-one tuition where you'll get an introduction to traditional glass bending techniques and craft your very own neon sign. This is real neon, and not an LED imitation.
Please note that you will not get as much individual tuition time per person with this option compared to the one-to-one workshop. You will create one piece between the two of you. We encourage participants to chat with us about their design at least a couple of weeks before the workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any preparation required?+
We encourage participants to chat with us about the design they would like to make, at least a couple of weeks before the date of the workshop, so that we can manage expectations as to what is achievable. This means that you get to spend more time making your design on the day, rather than spending time deciding what to make. We find that shapes/outlines or initials are the most achievable in the timeframe.
What can I expect on the day?+
You will be greeted by a member of our team, who will give you a brief history of neon signs and how they are made, and a tour of our amazing workshop, so that you can understand the different steps of the process and learn some interesting facts about neon.
Working directly with one of our highly skilled neon glass benders, you will both chat about bringing your design to life, followed by an introduction to flames and simple bends
The rest of the day will be spent with you both bending the glass to make your design.
Please note that you will not get as much tuition time per person with this option, compared to the one to one workshop.
What will we take away?+
Depending on how long the making takes depends on the design itself. If you would rather take your creation home with you on the day, then we would need to allow time for the neon tubes to be filled with gas, and then assembled onto the backing panel and wired up to the neon power supply, so would need to take this into account for the design.
If you would rather spend more time making the design, and then leave our craftspeople to complete the process after the workshop, then you can arrange to collect from us at another time, or we can arrange for delivery at an additional cost.
You will create x1 piece between the two of you.
Who is it suitable for?+
Our full day one to one workshop is suitable for anyone aged 14+ (under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult). No prior skill or knowledge is required, we will just need you to pay close attention to instructions being given at all times. Beginners, creative enthusiasts, neon lovers, are all welcome.
How much does it cost?+
The full day two to one workshop is £900, and this includes a neon power supply to illuminate your design, and a clear acrylic panel to fix the neon on to.
We are able to supply different backing types for an additional charge, for example white or black.
What should I wear?+
Loose clothing should be avoided if possible and long hair needs to be tied back. We provide safety glasses.
Are refreshments provided?+
Whilst we provide drinks, we suggest bringing a packed lunch on the day.
How can I book?+

Terms & Conditions
- A £425 non-refundable deposit is required for direct bookings. Vouchers are payable in full at time of purchase.
- Upon payment of the deposit we will arrange a suitable date — workshops are usually run on a Monday, Friday, or Saturday, but we try to be flexible.
- Balance is due 28 days prior to the workshop. If not received within 28 days, we reserve the right to cancel the date.
- Cancellations or amendments can be made up to 28 days before the workshop.
- Participants must be 14 years old and above. Under 17s must be accompanied by an adult.
- In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will either re-schedule or offer a full refund. We are unable to reimburse any travel or accommodation costs.
- Fire and alcohol do not mix — we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who has been drinking alcohol prior to the workshop.
