LED Flex Signs
A modern, flexible alternative to traditional glass neon — ideal for certain applications where weight or flexibility is a priority.
While Neon Creations specialises in real glass neon, we also offer LED flex signs for clients who need a lighter, more flexible solution. LED flex neon uses a silicone tube with an LED strip inside to mimic the appearance of traditional glass neon.
LED flex signs are a good option for very large signs where the weight of glass would be prohibitive, installations that require the sign to be bent into tight curves or unusual shapes, and outdoor signs that need to withstand very harsh weather conditions.
LED Flex vs Real Glass Neon
It is important to understand the differences between the two technologies before making your decision:
- Real glass neon produces a 360-degree glow and a warm, organic light quality that LED cannot replicate
- LED flex signs are lighter and easier to ship for very large installations
- Real glass neon typically lasts longer with less maintenance
- LED flex signs have a more uniform, consistent glow that some clients prefer for certain applications
