Wooden Panel Backings For Neon Signs
If acrylic isn't really your thing, and you prefer something with more texture and a more natural feel, then we have a number of different wooden panel options. As with acrylic panels, these can be fixed to the wall, hung from chains or steel cable, and then simply plug into a standard mains plug socket.
Wooden panel backings add warmth, texture and a natural character to your neon sign that acrylic simply cannot replicate. Each wooden panel is unique — particularly with reclaimed wood options where no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

Painted MDF Panels
If you would like your neon backing to match a particular colour, we can supply an MDF panel painted to your specification. This is a great option if you would like the panel to blend in with your wall or complement the colours in your room. Alternatively, a contrasting colour can help your neon stand out. The panel is finished with clean, unframed edges for a simple, contemporary look.

OSB Boards
An OSB board backing gives a more textured, industrial feel to your neon sign. The visible layers of wood strands add depth and character, creating an interesting contrast with the brightly coloured neon. This is a great option if you prefer a natural wood finish with a slightly raw, unfinished look. It works particularly well with bold lettering and colourful designs, making the backing part of the overall appearance of your sign.
