Printed Backgrounds For Neon Signs
A printed background adds a completely different dimension to your neon sign, giving it the extra WOW factor. As long as we can obtain or be provided with a hi-res file, we can print almost anything (subject to copyright). This might be a company logo, a pop art style background, a stock photography image, a digital print, or a photograph.
Photographs in particular can provide a great memento of an event such as a wedding or special birthday, or it may be a favourite photo of family, friends or even a pet. These are supplied ready to hang up and plug into a standard mains plug socket.
If you prefer your neon housed within an acrylic case, the printed image can form the back panel of the case. This gives you the traditional enclosed neon look with the added wow factor of a full printed background visible through the front of the case.
If your preference is for the print and the neon tubes to be exposed, but you would like the transformer and wiring hidden, then an all-one-colour acrylic case is the best option. The print sits on the front face of the case with the neon tubes mounted in front.
If you prefer the neon tubes to be exposed, the print can be onto an acrylic panel — available in clear, black or white, square/rectangular cut, or cut to shape. A stunning combination of vivid printed colour and authentic glowing neon.
If you are looking to add texture to your printed background, we can also print onto wood — MDF, OSB board, and sometimes reclaimed wooden boards depending on how textured they are. A unique combination of natural texture, print and neon light.
