We Love Manchester Emergency Fund
We made the iconic Manchester Bee symbol into a neon sign, and raffled it off to raise funds for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, to aid the victims, their families, and others caught up in the awful events at Manchester Arena.
The sign raised over £4000 which smashed our goal of £2000, a massive thank you to all who donated.
The neon sign measures 1m x 1m, and is made in white and yellow neon. It can simply be fixed to any wall, or hang from chain. It simply plugs into a mains plug socket.
The idea to make the Manchester Bee into a neon sign, came from a friend of Martyn Hett, one of the victims, who approached us to make the bee for a vigil event being held for Martyn. Unfortunately we were unable to complete the neon in time for the event, but after discussions with Martyn’s friend, we decided to auction or raffle the neon sign, to raise money for the fund.
